What's new?

The first update for the new year is done. I have added a new page entitled “MGs and the Critters Who Love Them“. There are a ton of updates waiting to be done and hopefully I will get the time to do them soon. If you have sent any photos or other material and don’t see it yet, please be patient. I’m about two months backed up here!

More content on the M.G. pages including a new expanded Artwork Page. The Garage Project also has a few more photos and the project is finally nearing completion!

Be sure to check out the MG TC Conclave trip report from the event held in Sequoia National Park a couple weeks ago. It was an amazing trip and we are looking forward to next year.

I’ve also found a way to force myself to keep up on maintenance for the cars. I’ve began posting my maintenance logs in each car’s section so that if I don’t perform regular maintenance I will be harassed by the rest of the MG community. So far I have completed Cedric and the TC.

There have been various other updates to the site, mostly in the MG Section (various car photos, historical and modified photos, event photos, trip reports, etc) and the Garage Project. Many more updates are waiting to be completed but it’s taking more time than I have to give!

There’s a new page in the MG section of the site called MG Kit Cars.

We got our 20,000th visitor today. Unfortunately it was me! I logged on to check an update and noticed the counter at an even 20K. Maybe I should have held a contest so I could win something… from myself. Never mind.

For lack of any other news this month, The Flying Raisin is finally home! The car has been stored for the past 6 or more months in a garage while our garage project has been going on. I’ve missed my car! Now to get that engine back together….

I have started on a new page for the MG Section called “Technical Tidbits“. It offers unusual facts and tips on British cars that you won’t find in repair manuals. I don’t plan to put any standard repair or technical information on this page because there are plenty of web sites with that stuff already.

I’ve added a new link in the MG Section to photos from various British Car events we have attended. The photo pages were originally seperate from this web site so they will look different than the rest of the pages unless I get un-lazy and re-write them. Don’t hold your breath.

The Aquarium made it’s departure today, bound for a new home in someone else’s living room. It’s a sad day but overall it’s a good thing. Now I can spend less time sucking up fish poop and more time enjoying the cars.

Only five months have passed and we’ve gone and done it again. We added another car to the garage which, by the way, is already overflowing. This one we really couldn’t pass up and I think everyone will agree. It’s a 1949 MG TC! Photos will be uploaded soon.

A new section has been added called “Home Projects“. (Since renamed “Garage Project”)
