We are the second private owners of this very special car. The dealer in Cornwall, England who ordered it from M.G. was so smitten that they kept it for 29 years before finally selling it to the first private owner. Jean Clyde Mason of Hollywood, California owned and drove it for the next 56 years before it became too difficult for her to drive. We are now the lucky caretakers and plan to keep it just as original as she did.
Unfortunately Jean passed away shortly after we purchased the car, so much of its early history has been lost. A good amount of documentation has been retained however, so at least some of its history is preserved.
