Los Angeles is my town which is probably why I enjoy traveling so much! If you're coming into LA, you'll find a very large and diverse city, but less than average to do as a tourist. I recommend visiting the famous beaches (Venice, Santa Monica, Malibu), piers, Peterson Museum and the newly renovated Hollywood. You can also take tours at many of the big movie studios. Be sure to take a day trip up the Pacific Coast Highway toward Santa Barbara (1 1/2 hours from downtown) and I highly recommend a drive up Mulholland Highway if time permits.
