Sienna is a fantastic place to explore. Il Campo, the main town square is the best people-watching spot in Italy. Weather permitting, the tower above the square is open to visitors and offers a panoramic view of the city. The most impressive sight by far to me was the Cathedral. It was the most ornate and beautiful structure I have ever seen, both inside and out. Pictures cannot do it justice. I spent most of the afternoon there.
