Florence is an amazing city to say the least. Many people center their trip around it, but for me it was a day trip. I skipped most of the art museums that it's famous for, and that saved an entire day, I'm sure. I can only look at so many pictures of "Mary with child" before they all begin to look the same. The city itself has plenty to offer
