Possibly my favorite town in Ireland, Kenmare has charm and simplicity and is surrounded by spectacular scenery. This is a good place to stay for visiting The Ring of Berra and The Ring of Kerry. The Ring of Berra takes most of a day to complete and offers extraordinary scenery. Of the three peninsulas in the area it was my favorite. The road north to Killarny is one of the most scenic roads in Ireland.
